Troppo colore, troppo tutto. Rivoluzione del Carnevale in casa

 

    Quando in un post precedente ricordavo il momento in cui siamo arrivati in questa casa e l'ambiente davanti agli occhi, non esageravo raccontando di colori molto accesi affiancati ad un mobilio stile arte povera in legno scuro che proprio non facevano parte del mio sentire. Era tutto pesante e cupo nell'insieme. 

Il pavimento blu intriso di geometrie così differenti all'interno delle stesse stanze poi mi lasciava veramente perplessa...

Piano terra e primo piano non differivano, il leit motiv della casa era il colore applicato ai muri in simil spazzolato veneziano, ripreso addirittura dai complementi. Guardandomi attorno avevo però già molto chiaro che la casa di Arlecchino, in primis, col nostro arrivo sarebbe stata rivoluzionata dalla luce. 

Certo non si è trattato di una ristrutturazione nel vero senso della parola ma di un ripensare gli spazi adattandoli al maggior numero di mobili che ci portavamo dietro per non andare a perdere tempo e denaro cercando nuovi arredi e a rendere più funzionali nicchie e locali che sembravano non avere una logica.  

Ecco qui quindi alcuni angoli dell'after e before da cui tutto ha avuto inizio!

 

 

When in a previous post I recalled the moment we arrived in this house and the scene before our eyes, I wasn’t exaggerating when describing the bold colors alongside the dark wood furniture in a rustic style, which didn't resonate with me at all. Everything felt heavy and gloomy as a whole.

The blue floor, drenched in mismatched geometries within the same rooms, left me truly puzzled...

The ground floor and the first one were no different; the house’s leitmotif was the color applied to the walls in a faux Venetian plaster style, even echoed in the furnishings. But as I looked around, it was already clear to me that with our arrival, the Harlequin house would first and foremost be transformed by light.

Of course, it wasn’t a renovation in the true sense of the word, but more about rethinking the spaces, adapting them to fit the many pieces of furniture we brought with us, so as not to waste time and money on new furnishings, and making niches and rooms that seemed to lack logic more functional.
